We seek to instill Christian values and give practical assistance through our various outreach programs. This started with 4 or 5 street kids and has grown to typically 80 to 120 street kids and older homeless each week.

Every Thursday

We offer various forms of assistance at these outreach events, including food, clothing, worship, and preaching. We also receive numerous phone calls requesting many different kinds of assistance. While offering help, we won't contribute into enabling the street people to stay in the dangerous situations in which they put themselves.

SERVICES

We offer a variety of practical services, such as:

  • pastoral ministry
  • job search information
  • referrals to drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs
  • GED referrals
  • obtaining Texas I.D.s and birth certificates
  • food distribution
  • blanket distribution
  • clothing distribution
  • pregnancy tests
  • diapers, wipes, formula provision, etc.
  • transportation
  • help with family reconciliation [if possible]
Our Services
Parenting Assistance
PARENTING ASSISTANCE

YWAM's Little Footprints assists young women who become pregnant and are in need of practical assistance in caring for their babies, (both during their pregnancies and afterward). They have referred some young women to Christian maternity homes such as YWAM's unwed mother's home, Father Heart.

YWAM's Loving Houston Adoption Agency assists Little Footprints Children's Ministry with the street babies/children by offering foster care and adoption services.

LONG-TERM GOALS
  • Continue to break the cycle of poverty, hopelessness and abuse in the lives of the street kids and older homeless.
  • Expand the ministry to increase the number of street kids and older homeless into life-changing programs and environments.
